Hi Janet,

I compared Prize to a few other fillys that I had liked that were born this year. All I can say is wow, she blows them out of the water. It kind of makes me jealous that I wont own her! One thing I've noticed with the Houck's horses versus some others is that the quality they are as foals remains the quality they are as adults. Some foals I've seen around here are pretty nice when young but grow up and aren't as good as they once were. Kinson is only getting better with age and the updated pictures of the horses born last year seem to be doing the same. I will say I do brag about where Kinson came from!

My name is Franet Hazard. My husband Rich and I purchased Houck's Crown Royal last year. I felt we needed to share some great news with you since it continues to reinforce the breeding success of your program.

In Sept, we took "Royal" to AMHR Nationals where he won National Champion for 28" and under 3 year and older Stallions.

We did not show anywhere for AMHA. The trainer we used trains 33" and up and is very involved in AMHR. He really enjoyed working with Royal. Royal was always focused and respectful.

We just thought you might like know about his success.  He is a very proud boy and so even tempered. He is great with kids and tolerates the 3 dogs that are bigger than he.
